Indoor Beauty

The started early, around 6am when Madz decided to get up. She and I played as quietly as possible while Emma and Jay still slept.

When Maddie was done with breakfast, she decided that she wanted to play in the sink with the water. As I was going to pull her sleeves up, she started screaming. My first thought was that I did someting to the arm that she had injured in FL. The poor thing was in so much pain. She sat around ot using the arm for about an hour until we got ready to go out and start our day. We decided to go about the day and to see how things look later with her arm since we had been through this before. Jay also says that it was her other arm that was injured . . . I honestly cannot remember.

We made our way to the Conservatory at Como Zoo. Jay thought is might be just what we needed. Oh, it was!! Beautiful flowers, hot humid air! It just makes you feel alive! We took a ton of great photos and had lots of fun. By the way, by the time we left the zoo (didn't look at any animals) Madeline was back to using her arm like normal and crawling around in a children's section.

We stopped for dinner and made it home for a late nap. After nap the girls put the finishing touches on birthday cards for Grandma Kim. Then we went over to their house for a birthday celebration.

We enjoyed time with lots of grandmas and grandpa's and aunt and uncle. It was a nice time and we got home late.

Will be living in the glow of the visions from the Conservatory for many a day. Especially since I am watching the grass getting covered by snow . . .
